East Brunswick Library represented at awards ceremony

PHOTO COURTESY OF JENNIFER PODOLSKY EAST BRUNSWICK — The East Brunswick Library was recognized at the 36th annual Libraries of Middlesex (LMx) Awards Reception.

Scott Crass, of Sen. Linda Greenstein’s office nominated Elina Saroka, customer service director for the East Brunswick Public Library, for a recognition award, which she received during the ceremony on Dec. 3 at the Pines Manor in Edison.

LMx is an organization of all the public libraries in Middlesex County plus the Middlesex County College Library.

Literacy Programs of NJ, Books To Keep, and the automation system (LMxAC) are three of the programs instituted by LMx, an organization dedicated to serving Middlesex County through cooperation.

The reception each year honors public officials, trustees, library supporters and employees.
