Woodbridge Library to host romantic movie series

On Jan. 8, the Woodbridge Main Library will begin a Winter Film Series scheduled each Friday at 2 p.m. that will highlight romance. The first movie is In Secret, a romantic thriller based Émile Zola’s Thérèse Raquin and starring Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Felton and Jessica Lange. On Jan. 15, they will screen 5 Flights Up, a drama about an older couple preparing to sell the Brooklyn apartment that they have shared for 40 years. Jan. 22 will feature Age of Adaline, a romantic fantasy starring Blake Lively, Michiel Huisman and Harrison Ford. Words and Pictures, a drama with Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche as competitive prep school teachers, will be shown on Jan. 29, followed by A Little Chaos, a British historical period piece directed by Alan Rickman and starring Kate Winslet on Feb. 5. The series concludes on Feb. 12 with Love, Rosie, a British-German romantic comedy based on Cecelia Ahern’s book and starring Lily Collins and Sam Claflin.
