LAWRENCE — A gas station attendant was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash by an armed robber while he was sitting in the gas station office on Brunswick Pike, according to the Lawrence Township Police Department.
The victim was sitting at a desk inside the gas station when a man, wearing a ski mask and dark clothing, entered the office and demanded money at 8:41 p.m. Jan. 5, police said. The man was holding a pistol in his hand.
When the victim told the robber that he did not have any money, he grabbed the victim and pushed him into a corner and threatened him, police said. At that point, the victim gave the robber some cash and the man fled.
Police searched the area, but could not find the man. He was described as a white male, about 20 years old and about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing black running pants with a white stripe down the side, a black and white horizontally striped sweatshirt, and a black ski mask.
