Township resident Doreen Lorenzetti has drawn an updated comic-style map that pictured businesses, major roads and landmarks in the township.
The multi-colored, laminated poster-size map was unveiled at Tuesday’s Township Committee meeting.
It’s the kind of map that draws the viewer in and begs to be studied — see the woman on the stretcher near the rescue squad building, for instance, and find the artist and her children in one corner of the map.
She drew a similar map 20 years ago and reprised it at the behest of the township administration.
Business owners who paid $250 to be depicted were invited to come Tuesday and were given a copy.
