The South Brunswick Senior Center will offer the following programs and activities for township seniors age 55 and older:
Movie Days are planned, including “Bridge of Spies” at 12:30 p.m., March 3, a new Bollywood film at 12:30 p.m., March 8, and “Southpaw” at 12:30 p.m. ,March 22.
Artist/historian Maurice Mahler will discuss the works of Claude Money at 12:30 p.m. March 19.
The new monthly program Coloring for Adults will continue at 12:15 p.m. March 15.
South Brunswick senior citizens are invited to a special “Seniors Only” viewing of the South Brunswick School District’s Seventh Annual Student Art Gallery at 10:30 a.m. on March 31. The morning will include a special sneak performance of the high school’s spring musical. Transportation will be provided by the South Brunswick Department of Transportation. On March 17 at 12:15 p.m., the South Brunswick Senior Center will hold its annual St. Patrick’s Day Party. A corned beef and cabbage lunch will be served in the cafeteria at 11:15 a.m. The suggested donation for the meal is $2.25. To order lunch, call Karen at 732-329-6171.
Paul Rao will speak about “How Science, Math and the Humanities Influence Our Lives” 1:30-3 p.m. March 16.
The Low Vision Support Group will meet at 10:30 a.m. on March 4 to discuss how to create solutions, overcome obstacles and stay organized to compensate for diminished vision. To RSVP, call Caryl at 732-329-4000, ext. 7212.
On March 10, the South Brunswick Senior Center will host a student variety show at 12:30 p.m. with students from Crossroads North Middle School.
The senior center will celebrate the retirement of Susan Trilli at 12:15 p.m. March 24.
The senior center will hold a presentation with the township library at 12:15 p.m. on March 30. The library offers programs and activities such as technology, live music, world cinema, yoga, tai chi, D’s Kitchen Lab, free movies and music streaming.
