Upon arrival, the fire was contained to a solar panel on the roof of Macy’s, according to a statement released by the East Brunswick Police Department.
Firefighters extinguished the fire without any further extension. The fire was determined under control at approximately 11:15 a.m., police said. Damage was contained to the roof area and the floors below the fire.
