The Woodbridge Public Library is offering a free program of crafts and activities for grades 6-12 in honor of Teen Tech Week 2016.
From March 7-16, teens and tweens can stop by the Main Library or the branches to create unique DIY projects, like a duct tape earbud pouch, pom pom shooter, or marshmallow-pasta tower.
The program will be held from 3:45-4:45 p.m. at the following dates and locations: March 7 at the Main Library, March 9 at the Fords branch, March 10 at the Iselin branch, and March 16 at Henry Inman branch.
Teen Tech Week is a nation-wide, annual initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association to encourage students to explore meaningful projects throughout their communities that build on STEAM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).
There is no registration and the program is free, so interested teens and tweens in grades 6-12 can attend the program at any location. For more information, parents and teens can contact the Teen Services librarian at the Main Library at 732-634-4450 ext. 7130 or by emailing [email protected].
