Parsons students celebrate history though living wax museum

NORTH BRUNSWICK – Fourth grade students of Parsons Elementary School have given life to their favorite historical figures.

Students spent a month researching an influential person of their choice, from inventors to scientists to singers to athletes. On Feb. 24, they presented what they learned during the third annual living wax museum, at which time they dressed up as their figure and shared information with fellow students, teachers, parents and members of the community.

“Fourth grade teachers are extremely proud of all of the work their students had accomplished. The fourth-grade teachers cohesively planned and prepared students for the big day. All students prepared speeches, created posters, composed computer generated timelines, as well as assembled costumes and props,” said teacher Traci Iannuzzi. “We are impressed with the creativity and dedication our students exude.”
