Ella Wilson, 92, formerly of Manahawkin and Keyport, passed away peacefully on Feb. 21 at Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hamilton.
Ella was born in Denmark to Hans and Kirstin (Dahlsgard) Pedersen. She was a graduate of Keyport High School, Class of 1941. Later, Ella worked in the retail industry as a sales associate, most recently at Reynolds Clothing, Manahawkin.
Ella was predeceased by her brother, Ivan Pedersen; her sisters, Anne Ulrichsen and Greta Knowles; her husband of 44 years, Howard Wilson, in 1990; and her son, Robert Wilson, in 2015.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Wilson and his wife, Kathleen, of Ham Lake, Minnesota; her daughter, Kristine Donohue and her husband, Michael, of Merchantville; her daughter-in-law, Shirley Wilson, of Yardville; her brother, Erik Pedersen of Freehold; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Bedle Funeral Home, 61 Broad St., Keyport, from 10 a.m. to noon March 12. Funeral home service will follow. Burial will follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.
