The Edison Animal Shelter is holding a shoe collection drive to raise money to pay for shelter improvements and animal care through on April 30, said shelter manager Kirsten Arcell. Gently-worn, used or new pairs of shoes may be dropped off at the Animal Shelter, 125 Municipal Blvd., across from the Edison Municipal Complex. Based on the number of pairs collected, the Animal Shelter will earn money from Funds2Orgs, a Florida-based social enterprise network, which buys donated shoes.
