The Marlboro Recreation and Swim Summer Camps offer a variety of camps for children between the ages of 4-14. All camp staffs are made up of seasoned recreational and educational supervisors and teen counselors. The Swim Club camp, held exclusively at the Marlboro Swim Club on Gordon’s Corner Road, is a seven-week program, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, where you have the choice between day camp, sports camp or activities camp. Daily activities include swimming, arts and crafts, sports and special events. New for this year is before camp from 9-11 a.m.; space is limited. Family pool membership is required for the swim camps. Rec Camps are open to grades K-6 and are held at various schools or township buildings. This is a six-week program, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is known for its “on-the-go” diverse activities including swimming, science shows, arts and crafts, sports and summertime fun learning. The six weeks is divided into two three-week sessions. Children in grades K-6 have the option to add a seventh camp week, H2O program, held exclusively at the Aquatic Center. For children currently in grades seven and eight, the travel camp is a five-week program that offers a trip adventure every day. Campers will travel to water and amusement parks, sporting events, some of Jersey’s beautiful beaches, and so much more. The theater camp is two three-week programs for children currently grades four through eight. Whether you can sing, dance, act or want to be behind the scenes doing lighting, sound and set design, you can do a little bit of everything. Before and after camp are available for summer day camp, teen travel and theater camp. Non-residents are welcome. To register, visit communitypass.net/Marlboro.
