PLAINSBORO — A Plainsboro Township man who was hosting a party in which alcohol was served to under-aged persons was charged with numerous offenses after police responded to a call for a woman who was passed out in the street shortly after midnight March 6, according to the Plainsboro Township Police Department.
Ridge A. Pugliese, 20, of Hopkins Court, was charged with maintaining a nuisance, possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages, obstructing, disorderly conduct and making alcohol available to under-aged persons in connection with an incident at his home at 12:22 a.m. March 6, police said.
Police were called to investigate a female who had passed out in the street. She was found to be a juvenile and extremely intoxicated, according to police reports. She was taken to a medical facility by Plainsboro Emergency Medical Services.
After police heard someone scream “help” from inside the Hopkins Court residence where the juvenile had been a guest, they attempted to enter the house. Mr. Pugliese tried to stop police from entering his home, but they were able to get inside and check for anyone else who needed medical attention, according to reports.
The party was dispersed by police and Mr. Pugliese was charged with numerous offenses. He was taken to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center on $2,500 bail.
