SOUTH RIVER – Members of the South River Police Department recovered an extraordinary amount of drugs and cash after executing a court-approved search warrant at a residence on Stanton Street on March 3 at approximately 7 a.m.
The search warrant was a result of a narcotics investigation that was conducted by South River Police Department Detective Bureau, according to a statement prepared by the department. As a result, more than 11 bricks of heroin totaling over 550 decks along with crack cocaine, 20 roxycodone pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, $1286 and a motor vehicle were reportedly seized, police said.
Dawn Proctor, 43, of South River, was charged with possession and possession with the intent to distribute heroin, possession and possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession and possession with the intent to distribute roxycodone pills, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a school zone, possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Proctor was transported to the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center in lieu of $75,000 bail.
