The Ashley Lauren Foundation’s fifth annual Butterfly Ball at the Ocean Place Resort and Spa in Long Branch was deemed a success as it raised awareness of the Foundation’s mission and funds for its many programs.
According to a press release, hundreds of attendees enjoyed an evening of fine food, drink and Gatsby-themed entertainment on Feb. 20.
The event also honored the Nahum family, which includes Dr. Ken, Ann, Dr. Kelly, Brittany and David.
The Ashley Lauren Foundation provides financial assistance, material needs, emotional support as well as programs such as Making Dreams Come True, Summerfest, Harvest Party, Boardwalk Spring Party, Birthday Brigade and more for New Jersey children fighting cancer.
