MILLTOWN – Patrol officers responded to the Fuel One gas station at 29 South Main St. after receiving a 911 call about an attempted armed robbery on March 17.
Around 11 p.m., a gas station employee reported that as he was leaving for the evening, an unidentified male ran up to him, pulled out a pistol and demanded money, according to a statement provided by the Milltown Police Department.
The employee responded to the demand by quickly running away unharmed, police said. The suspect then allegedly fled the area on foot without obtaining anything.
The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s, standing 5’10”, wearing a white long sleeved fleece and white pants.
