LAWRENCE POLICE BLOTTER: March 24

  • Shafiea Evans, 23, of Trenton, and Thomas L. Richardson, 45, of Ewing Township, were charged with hindering apprehension at 8:56 p.m. March 19 for providing police with false names after the car Ms. Evans was driving was stopped by police on Princeton Avenue because the temporary tag on it was not on file. Ms. Evans was found to have an outstanding warrant for $350 from Hamilton Township, and Mr. Richardson was also found to have an outstanding warrant for $2,500 from Trenton Municipal Court. 
  • Jakub H. Brocki, 29, of Trenton, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and hindering apprehension for providing police with a false name, during an investigation of a disturbance in a parking lot on Lawrence Road at 2:25 a.m. March 19. 
  • Breon O. Williams, 25, of Ewing Township, was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence within 1,000 feet of a school and reckless driving after his car struck a utility pole on Eggerts Crossing Road at 11:48 p.m. March 19. 
  • Sawo L. Gueh, 26, of Trenton, was charged with resisting arrest and obstruction of the administration of law for refusing to get out of the car he was driving after it was stopped by police on Princeton Avenue at 11:25 a.m. March 15. He was also found to have an outstanding warrant for $350 from East Windsor Township Municipal Court. 
