The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, March 16, 2016.
Officers responded to the Burlington Coat Factory at 2:03 p.m. March 12 for a report of shoplifters leaving the store. Store officials reported that two men left the store without paying for merchandise valued at $220. The men fled from the area in the direction of Route 130 south.
Officers responded to Target at 2:25 p.m. March 14 for a report of shoplifters leaving the store. Store officials reported that a man and a woman left the store without paying for merchandise valued at $599.99. The individuals fled from the area in the direction of Route 571 east.
Officers responded to Greenwich Court at 6:04 p.m. March 14 for a residential burglary. The victim reported that someone entered the residence through the locked rear door and stole jewelry valued at $18,665.
Correy F. Pringley, 34, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:57 p.m. March 16 on Route 130.
An officer was on patrol on Route 130 when he observed a vehicle fail to observe a red traffic signal and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Further investigation revealed that a passenger of the vehicle was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Pringley was arrested and later released pending court action.
