The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
Officers responded to Jamestown Road at 9:05 a.m. March 18 for a vehicle burglary. The victim reported that someone entered the unlocked vehicle and stole merchandise valued at $7,149.
Officers responded to Overton Road at 3:35 p.m. March 18 for a residential burglary. The victim reported that someone entered the rear kitchen window and stole jewelry and electronics valued at approximately $25,000.
Officers responded to We R Wireless on Route 571 at 2:21 p.m. March 21 for a report of stolen goods. The victim reported that someone stole several cellular phones valued at $2,606.
Donovan W. Scott, 23, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and maintenance of lamps after being stopped at 11:39 p.m. March 21 on Probasco Road.
An officer was on patrol on Route 33 when he observed a vehicle with an inoperable brake lamp and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Scott was arrested and later released pending court action.
Bryan Archer, 33, of Jamesburg, N.J. was charged with shoplifting at 1:24 p.m. March 22 at the Home Depot.
Officers responded to The Home Depot for a report of a shoplifter in custody. The victim reported that an individual concealed merchandise in his jacket valued at $298 and left the store without paying. Mr. Archer was arrested and later released pending court action.
Officers responded to CVS Pharmacy on Route 130 at 5:10 p.m. March 22 for a report of a shoplifter who left the store. The victim reported that an individual walked out of the store without paying for merchandise valued at $599.88.
