An assortment of Christmas decorations were reported stolen from a Bank Street residence by a thief who forced open a basement window to get inside. The decorations were stored in the basement. The incident was reported at 9:06 a.m. March 29.
A Princeton Theological Seminary employee received a threatening and harassing phone call from a former co-worker at 3:27 p.m. March 28. The caller has been identified, but no charges have been filed yet. The incident is under investigation.
Joel Salko Jr., 47, of Glen Gardner, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $81 from Long Hill Township Municipal Court after he was stopped by police on Nassau Street for failing to wear a seat belt at 10:18 a.m. March 28.
A vandal punctured the rear tire of a car that was parked on Queenston Place with an unknown object sometime between 11 p.m. March 26 and 11 a.m. March 27.
James Petrozzini, 59, of Hopewell, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $300 from Franklin Township Municipal Court after a random license plate inquiry revealed the outstanding warrant. He was stopped by police on State Road at 7:21 p.m. March 26.
John Kohn, 30, of Weehawkin, was arrested on outstanding warrants totaling $372 after police stopped his car on State Road for having an expired inspection sticker at 10:22 a.m. March 26.
Keavon Chisolm, 25, of Ewing Township, was arrested on outstanding warrants totaling $1,038 from Lawrence, Aberdeen and Ewing municipal courts after the truck in which he was a passenger was stopped for a 4-ton weight limit violation on Prospect Avenue at 8:37 a.m. March 26. He was also found to be in violation of the seat belt law. He was unable to post bail and was turned over to the Lawrence Township Police Department.
Sally Gangi, 69, of Princeton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $114 from Plainsboro Township Municipal Court after a random license plate inquiry showed that she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was stopped on Cherry Valley Road at 9:28 p.m. March 25.
Benito Lopez-Chavez, 47, of Princeton, was charged with driving while his license was suspended after he was stopped for a licensing of non-commercial trucks violation on Nassau Street at 7:21 p.m. March 25. His driver’s license had been suspended because of a second violation of driving while intoxicated.
A thief stole a blouse valued at $995 from the Zoe store on Hulfish Street at 2 p.m. March 25. Police were called to investigate the shoplifting incident, but no arrests have been made thus far.
Alexa Marcus, 23, of Trenton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $89 from Lawrence Township Municipal Court after she was stopped by police on Nassau Street at 11:14 a.m. March 25 because her car had broken safety glass.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana after he was stopped for urinating in public on Nassau Street at 12:40 a.m. March 25. He was also found to have drug paraphernalia in his possession. He was taken into custody and released to a guardian.
David Ramos-Ventura, 26, of Gloucestor City, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $270 from Mansfield Township Municipal Court following a random license plate inquiry. He was stopped by police on State Road at 12:43 p.m. March 24.
Joseph Montalvo, 47, of Harrison, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $35 from Eatontown Borough Municipal Court after the car he was driving was stopped for a maintenance of lamps violation on Birch Avenue at 8:12 a.m. March 23.
Cezar Valle-Valdez, 40, of Hamilton Township, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $500 from Hamilton Township Municipal Court after the car in which he was a passenger was stopped for a maintenance of lamps violation on Hamilton Avenue at 12:01 p.m. March 23.
A Princeton-Kingston Road resident reported at 10 a.m. March 21 that someone fraudulently filed a federal tax return using their information. The Internal Revenue Service was notified and the incident remains under investigation.
