New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie took time out from his schedule Wednesday to attend the home opener of Princeton University’s baseball team against Seton Hall at Clarke Field. The governor’s son, Andrew Christie, is a senior catcher on the team. He had one hit in two plate appearances, a single to leftfield, as Princeton defeated Seton Hall 7-4. The Tigers, now 7-10 on the season, matched their win total from last year with the victory. With the loss, Seton Hall falls to 17-8. Princeton will host two Ivy League foes this weekend at Clarke Field with a doubleheader starting at noon Saturday, April 2, against Dartmouth followed by another doubleheader starting at noon Sunday, April 3, against Harvard.
