The Belmar Arts Center, the home of Belmar Arts Council, is proud to present the 12th annual Juried Art Show this spring.
This is an annual signature exhibition that features the highest level of artistry in all media. A total of 68 exhibiting artists from New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania will showcase their work. The exhibit began March 24 and will run to May 6. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, April 2, from 5-7 p.m. Awards will be announced, and Whole Foods of Wall will cater the event. Live music provided by Tim McCorry, a composer from Belmar.
The Belmar Arts Council is primarily a volunteer organization that is supported by membership fees, grants and donations that operates out of the Belmar Arts Center, which is located at “the Boatworks” at the corner of 7th Avenue & Railroad in Belmar. The council holds ongoing art exhibitions, classes and workshops, shared interest groups and live music events. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday 1-5 p.m. Parking and admission are free.
