Paula Cassius, teacher of family & consumer science at the Hillsborough high and middle schools, resigned effective March 23. She started work here in September.
The Board of Education accepted her resignation Monday night. She was replaced by Nicole Calafiore, effective March 29, through June 30, at a prorated annual salary of $55,545.
Jessica Fedroff, fall and winter cheerleading coach at Hillsborough High School, has resigned effective March 14. She had worked in the district since June 2008.
Erica Lapchak, a long-term substitute in special education at Amsterdam School, has resigned effective March 22, after working in the district since September.
On March 14, Ashlea-Nichole Skiles, teacher of grade 6 literacy at Auten Road Intermediate School, resigned effective May 13. She has been employed here since September.
Rachel Selig, teacher of grade 6 literacy at Auten Road Intermediate School, had the dates of her family leave of absence extended through April 21. Melissa Mayrides-Smith had her long-term substitute job in grade 6/literacy at the school extended to April 21 at a pro-rated salary of $55,545.
Jane Roxbury was hired to teach French at Hillsborough Middle School, effective March 15, through June 30, replacing Betsey Valenza, who resigned. She will be paid a pro-rated $61,845 per year.
