U.S. Army Pvt. Kaseem Jackson has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
During the nine weeks of training, Jackson studied the Army mission, history, tradition, core values and physical fitness; and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
Jackson is the son of Anthony Davis and Dawn Jackson of Monmouth Junction and grandson of Bettie Davis of Edison. He is a 2012 graduate of South Brunswick High School.
