Tonight’s meeting of the Board of Adjustment won’t include a portion devoted to continuing testimony on the application by the Muslim Center of Somerset County.
The center’s attorney is ill and asked for a postponement.
It’s unknown when the application will be resumed. The next available regular meeting date is in July. A special meeting would have to be paid for by the applicant.
The Muslim Center wants to buy property on New Amwell Road property that now belongs to the Chabad of Somerset County, and use it in a similar way, but with different hours of operation.
