WEST WINDSOR POLICE BLOTTER: April 7

  • Veronica M. Cox, 47, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting for taking clothing that she allegedly concealed inside a shopping bag at Walmart on Nassau Park Boulevard at 3:30 p.m. March 20. 
  • Ashidda A. Kearney, 35, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking an assortment of merchandise, valued at $219.66, from Walmart on Nassau Park Boulevard at 6:19 p.m. March 20. She was also found to have an outstanding warrant for $639 from Lawrence Township Municipal Court. 
  • A 45-year-old West Windsor resident reported that someone tried to move $14,000 from their Bank of America money market savings account at 5:55 a.m. March 21. The victim received a text alert from the bank about the transaction and contacted Bank of America, which was able to cancel the fraudulent transfer before it was actually processed. 
  • Sharon R. McNeil, 28, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting for allegedly attempting to take $1,112 worth of children’s clothing from Kohl’s on Nassau Park Boulevard at 2:32 p.m. March 23. Ms. McNeil and an accomplice were accosted by a store loss prevention officer, and fled. Ms. McNeil was apprehended by police, but the second shoplifter could not be found. 
  • A man attempted to use a fake $100 bill to buy items at Trader Joe’s on Route 1 at 12:23 p.m. March 24. When store personnel said they could not accept the bill, he fled the store. He is described as a black man, about 25 to 30 years old and about 6 feet tall. He is thin and had scruffy facial hair and a cloudy left eye. He was wearing a red baseball cap. 
  • A 45-year-old West Windsor resident reported that someone opened a Verizon Wireless account in his name that he did not authorize. He learned of the unauthorized cell phone line when Verizon began sending him bills, beginning in December 2015. Verizon Wireless canceled the account. The incident was reported at 7:36 p.m. March 22. 
  • Someone stole a bicycle belonging to a 38-year-old West Windsor Township resident that had been locked to the bicycle rack on the northbound side of the Princeton Junction train station sometime on March 22. The victim returned home from work at 8 p.m. and discovered the bicycle, valued at $100, was missing. 
  • Allan Sirjoo, 36, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking an assortment of items, valued at a combined $507.51, from Walmart on Nassau Park Boulevard at 2:54 p.m. March 27. 
