Middlesex County’s Office of Workforce Development will hold a Job Fair for employers looking to recruit full or part-time permanent workers from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. May 12 at Middlesex County College’s Physical Education Center, 2600 Woodbridge Ave., Edison. Between 500 and 1,000 job seekers are expected to attend the event, while 100 employers can be accommodated. Businesses must register by April 26 and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
The New Jersey Department of Labor will oversee an area with information on all of its services and programs.
Employers who have contract and/1099 positions, or commission-only jobs are not permitted to participate. All jobs offered should be full time, hourly or salaried. Retailers with part-time positions are allowed to participate, providing that jobs are permanent. Employers will be admitted to the event at 9 a.m. to set up. Please park in Lot 2 or Lot 4 at the College. Employers should also bring an ample supply of job applications, company marketing materials, signs and/or banners. Six-foot tables will be available for use during the event. If access to an electrical outlet is required, please indicate this on the registration form.
