Hopewell Borough will continue its celebration of its 125th year of incorporation on Saturday, May 7, with the inaugural Handmade Hopewell Makers Street Fair.
The event will take place on Seminary Avenue from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Borough shop owners Beth Judge, of Beth Ann Designs, and Jennifer Ghannam, of sticks and stones toy shop, are the co-founders, organizers and spearheads of Handmade Hopewell. “The event was conceived as a way to share both their love of their town and handmade things with a broader audience,” said a spokesman, who added, “We have had an overwhelming response from local artists, crafters and makers and have curated an amazing and diverse group of participants.”
This is another in the year-long series of events celebrating Hopewell Borough’s 125th as its own municipality.
