Bulldogs Youth Football Fundamentals Camp will be held in early July.
The camp is designed to improve basic skills for all offensive, defensive and special teams positions. Camp is open to kids entering grades kindergarten through ninth grade in September.
Ten areas will be covered: quarterback, wide receiver, running back, offensive line, defensive line, linebackers, defensive backs, long snappers, punters and kickers. All campers will have the opportunity to play each position.
Each day the camp will end in a competitive flag football game. At the end of the week, the campers earn T-shirts, awards and a team photo.
Sessions run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday to Friday, July 5 to 8 on the turf at Ackerson Field. The fee is $160.
This no-pads, four-day camp will be instructed by Hopewell Valley Central High School Head Football Coach Dave Caldwell, his assistant coaches and student athletes. Campers will wear shorts, T-shirt, cleats or sneakers.
