Jersey Memorial Group honors veterans at Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Jersey Memorial Group recently had the honor of placing a memorial wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider in Arlington National Cemetery.

The wreath was dedicated in honor of those who have served in New Jersey, according to a statement prepared by Jersey Memorial Group.

“We were both humbled and grateful to have the opportunity to participate in honoring our fallen war heroes,” said Jersey Memorial Group Principal David Hernandez, Jr. “Our caring team of professionals has seen firsthand the sacrifice many of these men and women have made in serving their country, and it is our privilege to show them the respect they so richly deserve.

“Participating in this event at Arlington National Cemetery was in line with our family’s philosophy that life is full of opportunities to show people we cherish them,” Hernandez added. “One such opportunity is in honoring their memory.”

Jersey Memorial Group owns and operates several funeral homes throughout the state including Oceanside Memorial Home, Lake Como; Old Bridge Funeral Home, Old Bridge; Waitt Funeral Home, Morganville; and Inglesby & Sons Funeral Home, Pennsauken.
