The Middletown Police Department will collect expired, unused and unwanted prescription medication from residents as part of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Take Back Initiative from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 30 at its headquarters at 1 Kings Highway.
Medication in the form of pills or patches can be brought to police headquarters. Liquids, needles or sharps will not be accepted. The service is free and anonymous — no questions will be asked.
The Middletown Township Health Department will accept home-generated syringes and needles used in the administration of injectable medication from township residents. Call 732-615-2095 for more information.
