Police are looking for a serial shoplifter.
On April 16 at 9:59 a.m. Officer Christopher Vaccarino was detailed to the Stop ‘n’ Shop on Denow Road on the report of a shoplifter. Store security reported that an unknown, 6-foot-tall, 20-year-old man wearing a black baseball hat and puffy black jacket with a blue hoody stole about $57 worth of lighters from the store. He was last seen running on foot behind the complex.
Police say he is a suspect in three other similar thefts, with a total value of about $1,100, this month at the store.
