Broker/associate Kathleen Morin has been promoted to manage the Century 21 Burke Realty office, bringing new energy to the fastest growing Century 21 agency in New Jersey. Morin relocated to the North Brunswick-based agency a year ago to work closer to her home and better serve the North Brunswick transit village real estate market.
John H. Burke, broker of record of the independently-owned and -operated franchise, said, “Kathy’s drive and creativity have been evident in her successful transition to this leadership position. It’s a new season with new leadership, new energy and expanded goals.”
Burke commended Morin’s success and knowledge in Middlesex County real estate as well as her past accomplishments. “Kathy has 14 years of experience in the Century 21 system, which will benefit all our other agents,” he added. Morin cited the flexible compensation of the Century 21 system and the various training programs available to all agents. “We are interviewing new applicants now to expand our base,” she said.
She became a licensed real estate agent in New Jersey in 1993. Among her awards are Bronze category in the N.J. Association of Realtors’ Circle of Excellence for 2003, 2004 and 2012 and the Silver Award for 2006. She earned the Century 21 Masters Program Certificate of Achievement in 2003 and the Pacesetter Platinum Award in 2006.
Morin also earned the Fine Homes and Estates certification from Century 21 and attained the status of real estate broker/salesperson in New Jersey in 2005. She is most honored to have achieved the consumer-rated Five Star Agent Award for customer and client commendation for sales from September 2013 through May 31, 2014. It was the fourth time she had been so rewarded for her efforts.
She has attained the following designations: Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Performance Management Network (PMN), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) as well as SFR, RSPR, AHWD and e-PRO Certificates.
She continues to pursue her commitment to enhancing the professionalism of the real estate industry with her activities in the Women’s Council of Realtors. She was 2015 vice president of Region VI, which comprises New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland, and 2013 governor of the New Jersey Women’s Council. Morin previously had served as president of the Middlesex County Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors.
Burke cited historically-low interest rates as being a great incentive for first-time home buyers to invest in the spring market. “Buying a house now can get a family into a new home for the summer,” he said. The firm’s location on U.S. Route 1 in North Brunswick positions it ideally to serve all areas
Morin said she was excited to command the diverse sales staff which offers special one-on-one service and is conversant in Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), English, Persian, Hindi, Italian, Punjabi (Eastern), Spanish and Urdu.
Burke also extolled the virtues of the Century 21 System with assistance to potential new home buyers. “From its use of modern technology to its top-notch agent support tools, the Century 21 System enables us to provide an unparalleled customer experience. Between the liveliness of the executive team and the energy of the system, the Century 21 brand has so much to offer our business.”
