The Middlesex County’s Office of Workforce Development will hold a Job Fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on May 12 at Middlesex County College’s Physical Education Center, 2600 Woodbridge Ave., Edison.
More than 90 employers in key employment sectors such as health care, technology, advance manufacturing, retail, hospitality, financial services and transportation logistics and distribution, will be at the event. The event is being coordinated to assist Middlesex County residents who are unemployed or underemployed. Businesses will conduct on-site interviews while seeking qualified candidates for the job openings that exist within their organizations. Job seekers are encouraged to bring an ample supply of resumes and be dressed to impress.
The Office of Workforce Development holds several job fairs throughout Middlesex County each year. In addition, the office also organizes monthly employer recruitment at its offices, located at 550 Jersey Ave., New Brunswick and at 161 New Brunswick Ave., Perth Amboy.
The Spring Job Fair is co-sponsored by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the Middlesex County Workforce Development Board.
