A contracting company building residential housing off Route 206 reported March 10 that a large amount of construction material — mostly siding and trim products — had been stolen from the site over the weekend.
The value of items was put at $9,210.
In other police items:
— Kyle Gibney, 24, of Hillsborough was arrested and charged with theft May 1 after illegally taking possession of a power washer and selling it on an Internet website, police said. The washer was valued at $279.
He was lodged in the county jail after being unable to post bail, police said.
— Corey Smith, 20, of Riegelsvile, Pa., was charged April 8 with driving under the influence after his vehicle was in a one-car crash on Duke’s Parkway East.
His blood content is unknown pending laboratory analysis.
Police said he was also charged with careless driving, failure to stay in one lane, driving an uninsured vehicle and underage driving while under the influence.
