Coldwell Banker hosts ‘Olympics Day’ for children at YMCA

Thirty-two volunteers from the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Marlboro/Manalapan real estate office sponsored an “Olympics Day” for the YMCA of Western Monmouth County after-school program as part of Coldwell Banker Cares Day on April 14.

Volunteers organized Olympics Day events for children at the Freehold-based YMCA that included an obstacle course, cornhole toss, calisthenics, crab soccer, hula hoops and flag tag. Children were awarded Olympic medals, received goodie bags, won raffle prizes, and were treated to cookies, cupcakes and brownies.

“As one child said, ‘This is the best day I ever had at the Y!’” said Alice Schoemann, branch vice president of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Marlboro/Manalapan office.

Schoemann said that Carol Poster and Debra Preston, the affiliated Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage agents chosen as Cares Days Ambassadors, were instrumental in the success of the Olympics Day event.

All 52 real estate offices affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, New York, gave back to local communities via charitable efforts as part of the fourth annual Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Day event.
