The Spotswood Band Parents Association will present a “A Salute to Sinatra” benefit concert beginning at 2 p.m. May 21 in the cafetorium at Spotswood High School, 105 Summerhill Road.
Some of Sinatra’s greatest hits, including the music of Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Cole Porter, Tommy Dorsey and George Gershwin, will be performed by the Central Jersey Wind Ensemble, several members of the Spotswood High School Wind Ensemble and vocalist Keith Watlington, under the direction of conductor Nick Santoro.
Admission is $10 per person, payable at the door. All proceeds will go toward the replacement of percussion equipment for the school band.
