LAWRENCE POLICE BLOTTER: May 12

Six cars were entered between 2 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. May 11 on Lawrencia Drive in the area of Oxford Court. A GPS, an Apple Macbook, a soccer bag and a wallet were taken from some of the cars, which had been left unlocked in front of their owner’s home. 
 Melanie Layton, 42, and Steven Dodd, 61, both of Philadelphia, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of prescription drugs without a prescription after the car in which they were riding was stopped on I-295 near Brunswick Pike for unclear license plates at 1:31 a.m. May 11. Ms. Layton was found to have an outstanding warant from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and Mr. Dodd had outstanding warrants from Mount Laurel and Evesham townships. They were taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center. 

Alex Buckle, 35, of Rockhall, Maryland, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe on Brunswick Pike at Bakers Basin Road at 2:07 a.m. May 6. He was observed dropping an object as he crossed the street, and a police officer initiated a pedestrian stop. He was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on outstanding warrants from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office and the New Brunswick Police Department. 

Robin McPherson, 28, of Trenton, and Dayquan Seale, 26, of Princeton were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after the car in which they were riding was stopped for having an expired temporary license plate on Brunswick Pike at 11:59 p.m. May 6. Mr. Seale was also charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and failure to give a controlled dangerous substance to a police officer. Police allegedly found small amounts of marijuana in the car and a container with five oxycodone pills. 
 Kenddrick Monday, 25, of Trenton, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana after the car in which he was riding was stopped for having an obstructed view on Brunswick Pike at 10:40 p.m. May 8. 

Sabrina Watson-Spotwood, 19, of Princeton, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and failure to give a controlled dangerous substance to a police officer after she was stopped for failure to maintain lane and failure to keep right on Brunswick Pike at 12:51 a.m. May 9. She was observed removing something from her pocket and concealing it in her hand, which was a small baggy allegedly marijuana. 
 Sylvie Pham, 23, of Trenton, and Philip Wilson, 29, of Trenton, were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after the car in which they were riding was stopped for having an unclear license plate on the Outer Ring Road at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 9:08 p.m. May 9. 
 Steven Strazzulla, 27, and Joseph Williams, 27, both of Piscataway, were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after the car in which they were riding was stopped for a maintenance of lamps violation on Route 1 north at 2:59 a.m. May 5. 

An undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry were reported stolen during a burglary at a Town Court North home on May 5. The victim came home at 12:45 p.m. and discovered that someone had forced open the front door to gain entry. 
 Ashley Yanes, 19, of Trenton, Jacqueline Roldan, 19, of Ewing Township, and a 17-year-old juvenile from Trenton were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana after the car in which they were riding was stopped for having tinted windows on Brunswick Pike at 5:03 p.m. May 5. Ms. Yanes, who was the driver, was also charged with having tinted windows, driving with a suspended license, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. 
