ABERDEEN — The Aberdeen Economic Business Council (EBC) and Aberdeen Township Council are inviting employers to participate in the fourth annual Job Fair, which will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. June 2 at Matawan Regional High School, 450 Atlantic Ave.
“Last year’s Job Fair attracted nearly 400 attendees and more than 40 private- and public-sector employers offering a wide variety of positions,” said Carmine S. Visone, chairman of the Aberdeen EBC. “We hope for another successful event this year.”
The Aberdeen EBC sponsors the event in cooperation with Mayor Fred Tagliarini and the Aberdeen Township Council. As with the 2015 Job Fair, students from the high school’s Business Academy will be assisting in the promotion and operation of the event.
The fee for employers to exhibit is $35, which includes a table. Exhibitors also have the option to set up a booth no larger than 8 feet by 6 feet. Employers need to provide their own signage, literature and job applications.
Employers interested in participating can obtain an application form at www.aberdeennj.org. The completed form and fee are due by May 20. For more information, contact Maxine Rescorl at 732-583-4200, ext. 101.
