Preceding his graduation from the Citadel, Michael Subach of Hillsborough was commissioned into the U.S. Army in a May 6 ceremony in Charleston, S.C. Michael will be part of the Military Police while serving the country.
Families, friends, faculty and staff assembled at the Summerall Chapel on the Citadel campus to honor the newly commissioned officers. The commissioning cadets took oaths accepting appointments as officers in the armed services.
Michael received a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice at commencement on May 7 with a degree in criminal justice and a minor in intelligence & homeland security.
He graduated Hillsborough High School in June 2012.
