The following area residents received degrees at York College of Pennsylvania’s commencement exercises on May 14: Craig Hatch of Howell graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Kimberly Priante of Howell graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations.

Andrew Peller of Marlboro, the son of Nancy and Michael Peller, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester from Rutgers University. He is majoring in economics and statistics. Andrew is a graduate of Marlboro High School.

Melinda Graff of Manalapan, the daughter of Herman and Carol Graff, has graduated from Stockton University, Galloway Township. Melinda graduated with a master’s degree in business administration. She is a graduate of Freehold High School, Freehold Borough.

Gabriella DiCapri of Marlboro was among the 24 University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, students recently inducted into Alpha Mu Gamma, the national honor society for students of foreign languages. Gabriella is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Elif Anda of Morganville received the James J. Duane III Student Life Leadership Award at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in the spring of 2016. The award is given to seniors in recognition of extraordinary performance as a student leader at Lehigh University.

Allison Kubit of Morganville graduated from the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, Ithaca, New York, with a Bachelor of Science in integrated marketing and communications. She also pursued a minor in rhetorical communication studies.

Ilena Kubit of Morganville was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is a freshman.

Nathan Rosman of Freehold Township has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester at Penn State University, State College, Pa. Nathan is a rising senior who is majoring in communications. He is a 2013 graduate of Freehold Township High School.

Jacqueline Koren of Freehold was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Admin Justice-Juvenile Justice during commencement ceremonies at Salve Regina University, Newport, Rhode Island, on May 15.

Matthew Marks of Marlboro, the son of Liz and Mitch Marks, has graduated from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, with a Master’s Degree in accounting. Matthew is a graduate of Marlboro High School.

The following area residents were named to the dean’s list at Northeastern University, Boston, for the 2016 spring semester: Brittany Fung of Englishtown, majoring in physical therapy; Allison Epstein of Manalapan, majoring in economics; Brandon Coull of Manalapan, majoring in business administration;  Tiffany Seeber of Freehold, majoring in computer science; and Jacqueline Myers of Freehold, majoring in human services.

Anthony Silvia of Manalapan, a senior majoring in recreation and sport management, has been named to the president’s list at Coastal Carolina University, Conway, South Carolina, for the spring 2016 semester. To qualify for the president’s list for high academic achievement, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average and must be enrolled full time.

Nicholas Fonte of Freehold, the son of Judith and Mark Fonte, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at Furman University, Greenville, South Carolina.

Jessica Natofsky of Marlboro has graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Lasell College, Newton, Massachusetts.

Kelly Elizabeth Camarco of Colts Neck has graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies from Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina.

Robert J. Sherman of Colts Neck has earned a bachelor of science degree with distinction in mechanical engineering, with a mathematics minor, from Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York.

Lexi Krantz of Morganville, a junior at the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester. Lexi was also named to the Provost Honor Roll, which is awarded to students with a GPA of over 3.75.

Susanna Lekhno of Manalapan has graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in nursing from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

The following area residents have graduated from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania: Arielle Weiner of Freehold graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in bioengineering; Meredith Weiner of Marlboro graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science; Ryan von der Fecht of Manalapan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial and systems engineering; Michael Holdorf of Freehold graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science; Emily Lagomarsino of Manalapan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in materials science and engineering; Joshua Azarchi of Morganville graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering; Elif Anda of Morganville graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in global studies; and Joseph Bhaskar of Freehold graduated with a Master of Science degree in management.

The following students from Marlboro have been elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest  academic honor society, through the Delta of New Jersey chapter at The College of New Jersey, Ewing: Melissa Albert, psychology, and  Summer Nestorowicz, biology.

Amanda R. D’Apuzzo of Morganville has been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, a special mission affiliate of Penn State University.

Nicholas J. DeMarco of Morganville has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in building automation technology at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, a special mission affiliate of Penn State University.

The following area residents have been named to the dean’s list at York College of Pennsylvania, York, Pennsylvania: Nicholas Conti of Freehold, a senior mass communications major; Ashley DiLorenzo of Manalapan, a junior early elementary/special education major; William Sasso of Freehold, a sophomore mechanical engineering major; and Alex Terraciano of Manalapan, a senior entrepreneurship major.

Evan Katzen of Morganville, son of Hal and Ellice Katzen, has graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering. He participated in the co-op program, was a CARE house outreach volunteer member and earned a place on the dean’s list. Evan is pursuing his Master’s degree in engineering management at Stevens. He is a 2011 graduate of Colts Neck High School.
