Princeton Ballet School announces dates for placement classes

PRINCETON, NEW BRUNSWICK – Princeton Ballet School, the official school of American Repertory Ballet, announces its placement class schedule in order to determine fall classes.

Placement classes are conducted for entering students with prior dance training for first through fifth graders, and for sixth grade and up. This is not an audition, all are welcome at Princeton Ballet School, where they merely help the school find the most appropriate class for children.

Open enrollment for all other students and adults is underway as well.  At Princeton Ballet School, age is only one factor in determining a student’s placement, which each student to be placed in an ability-appropriate class.

All Placement Classes will be held at Princeton Ballet School, 301 N. Harrison St., Princeton, located in the Princeton shopping center above McCaffrey’s grocery store.

Founded in 1954 by Audrée Estey, Princeton Ballet School is one of the nation’s finest non-profit dance schools. Facilities

Princeton Ballet School has studios in Cranbury, New Brunswick, and Princeton. All studios are wheelchair accessible, and feature state-of-the-art dance floors that are shock absorbent and slip proof. The striking Princeton and Cranbury facilities were designed by the late Ralph Lerner, an internationally known architect and former Dean of the School of Architecture at Princeton University.
