The Statesir Cancer Centre is hosting its ninth annual Cancer Survivors Day event on June 5 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The free event is open to anyone who has been touched by cancer and will be held at CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, 901 W. Main St. The event will include music, brunch, nutrition and fitness presentations by CentraState clinicians, a vendor fair, and other activities.
National Cancer Survivors Day is an annual worldwide event celebrating life after a cancer diagnosis. The National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation defines a “survivor” as anyone living with a history of cancer — from the moment of diagnosis onward.
Space is limited, so registration for Cancer Survivors Day is requested by calling 855-411-CANCER or visiting centrastate.com/healthprograms.
