Representatives from Quaker Steak & Lube — the award-winning casual-dining concept known for its Best Wings USA and more than 25 signature sauces — recently presented a check for $2,788 to Raritan Engine Company No. 1 on May 21. In honor of its Edison location’s second anniversary, the restaurant donated 10 percent of its anniversary day sales and 100 percent of the proceeds from raffle ticket sales to Edison Township’s Raritan Engine Company No. 1 — which is celebrating 100 years of dedicated volunteer service this year — as a way to say “Thank-Q” for the emergency services it provides to the community.
