On May 23 at 2:18 p.m. Hopewell Township Officer Christopher Vaccarino stopped a 1980 International dump truck on Route 31 near the Pennington Circle because the driver and passenger were allegedly not wearing seatbelts. Warrants for the passenger, Bryan Roberts, 56, of Trenton, were found from Trenton and Ewing. He was placed under arrest and taken to Ewing police headquarters after being cited for not wearing a seatbelt.

On May 20 at 5:58 p.m. Officer Mandy Grey stopped a car on Route 31 near Denow Road for alleged failure to stop for a traffic signal.
While speaking with the driver, who was identified as Mark Izsa of Morris Plains, a warrant for his arrest out of Jersey City was located. He was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where he posted bail and was released after being cited for the traffic violation.

A Lambertville man was charged with driving while under the influence in the first minutes of May 16.
At 12:08 a.m. Hopewell Township Officer Nicholas Sparaco stopped a 2008 Hyundai on Route 29 near Park Lake Avenue for alleged weaving in traffic. He spoke to the driver, who was identified as Stanislaw A. Guzikowski, 38, of York Street, the officer said he smelled the odor of alcohol.
After roadside sobriety testing he was placed under arrest and taken to headquarters, from where he was released to a family member. He was charged with DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to exhibit documents, improper lane use and maintenance of lamps. His case will be heard in municipal court.

A driver involved in a rear-end crash was charged with DWI on May 22 at 5:02 p.m.
Officer Hoffman was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Route 29 at Route 546. He spoke with one driver, who was identified as Jarrad D. Saffren, 24, of Hope Road, Holland, Pa.
Officer Hoffman learned that Mr. Saffren’s vehicle had hit the back of a vehicle stopped at the red light on Route 29. While speaking with him, the officer smelled the odor of alcohol. After roadside sobriety testing Mr. Saffren was placed under arrest and taken to headquarters, from where he released to a family member after being charged with DWI, refusal to submit to breath testing, reckless driving, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to exhibit documents. His case will be heard in municipal court.

On May 30 at 9:09 p.m. Hopewell Township Officer Mark Panzano found a 2010 Nissan disabled in the street on Carter Road. While speaking with the driver, Claudine E. Moreno, 25, of Parkside Avenue, Ewing, a warrant was located for her arrest from West Windsor. She posted bail and was released.
