Mrs. Josephine Andrews passed away May 26 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 90 years old.
Born to Antonio and Marie Antoinette Canavera, Josephine was a lifelong resident of Somerset. She worked for a number of companies over the years, retiring from Lithoid Binderies in East Brunswick. Mrs. Andrews loved to play bingo and trips to Atlantic City. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose memory will be cherished always.
Mrs. Andrews was predeceased by her husband, Calvin Andrews, in 2008; by her sisters, Mary, Katherine, Cecelia, Mildred, Margaret, and Henrietta; and brother, John; and by her daughter-in-law, Marguerite Andrews.
She is survived by her sons, Councilman Ralph Andrews of North Brunswick and Mr. Donald Andrews of Somerset; and by her grandchildren, Jill and Nicholas Andrews.
Funeral services were arranged by Gleason Funeral Home in Somerset. Josephine will be entombed in Franklin Memorial Park.
