Family Arts of Metuchen will present a new local favorite, Michael and the Rockness Monsters, on July 6 at 6:15 p.m. on the Old Franklin Schoolhouse lawn (491 Middlesex Ave.; rain location inside). Tickets will be sold at the gate for $5 per person. Michael and the Rockness Monsters perform as part of the Sunflower Series, a summer children’s concert series in Metuchen. Additional concerts will be held on July 20 and August 3, with details to follow. The event is sponsored by the Metuchen Arts Council and the Borough Improvement League.
