Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will premiere its original movie Murder She Baked: A Deadly Recipe on Sunday, June 19 at 9 p.m. In the sleepy small town of Eden Lake, Minnesota, baker extraordinaire Hannah Swensen (Alison Sweeney) owns The Cookie Jar bakery. Along with making her very popular baked goods, Hannah has an appetite for getting involved in local crime investigations. Things heat up when she discovers the body of Sheriff Grant, and her brother-in-law, Deputy Bill Todd, who is running against the Sheriff in a heated election, becomes the prime suspect. Hannah surveys a host of suspects and collaborates with handsome detective, Mike Kingston (Cameron Mathison). With romance in the air, Hannah must focus on cooking up a recipe for catching an elusive killer.
Chef Andrew is back for another season of Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, premiering Tuesday, June 21 at 9 p.m. on Travel Channel. In the season premiere, Andrew travels to Madrid to discover some new spins on some old classics.
TNT will once again take viewers deep inside a complex murder investigation with the return of its crime drama, Murder in the First. The season three premiere will air on Sunday, June 19 at 10 p.m. The series centers on a pair of San Francisco detectives, played by Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson, who investigate tough crimes that put the city on edge. They are thrust into the tangled world of sports and celebrity when a pro-football player is murdered. Along the way, the pair also face their own personal tribulations.
Freeform will premiere the new season of The Fosters on Monday, June 20 at 8 p.m. The series picks up from the dramatic previous season finale with Mariana Adams Foster’s (Cierra Ramirez) emotionally devastated boyfriend Nick bringing a gun to school.
