Family Arts of Metuchen will present Play Date, a children’s rock duo, on June 22 at 6:15 p.m. on the Old Franklin Schoolhouse lawn (491 Middlesex Ave.; rain location inside). Tickets will be sold at the gate for $5 per person. Play Date kicks off the Sunflower Series, a summer children’s concert series in Metuchen. Additional concerts will be held on July 6, July 20, and August 3, with details to follow. The concert is sponsored by the Metuchen Arts Council and the Borough Improvement League.
