PRINCETON POLICE BLOTTER: June 15

  • A woman’s purse was reported stolen from a business in the 300 block of N. Harrison Street sometime between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. June 11. The theft was reported at 2:13 p.m. June 13. 
  • Robert Barger, 35, of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $81 from Hamilton Township Municipal Court after he was stopped on Nassau Street for failure to wear a seatbelt at 12:14 p.m. June 13. 
  • A woman reported the theft of her cell phone, which she had left in a business in the 100 block of Nassau Street between 1:15 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. June 13. When she returned to look for it, she could not find it. The theft was reported at 3:43 p.m. June 13. 
  • A Fuji brand mountain bicycle was reported stolen from a bicycle rack in front of the Community Park pool between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. June 13. The bicycle, which was valued at $150, had been locked to the bicycle rack. The theft was reported at 6:07 p.m. June 13. 
  • A 2014 Yamaha motorcycle, valued at $6,000, was reported stolen from in front of a house in the 100 block of Birch Avenue between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. June 12. The theft was reported at 12:40 p.m. June 12. 
  • Joseph Stevens, 22, of Lawrence Township, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop for not having a rear license plate on his vehicle at 11:41 p.m. June 11 on S. Harrison Street. 
  • Robert Solano, 34, of Princeton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $74 from Princeton Municipal Court after he was stopped by police for having broken brake lights on his vehicle at 9:44 a.m. June 11 on Nassau Street. 
  • Gordon Collier, 46, of Princeton, was turned over to Princeton police by The College of New Jersey Police Department at 2:49 a.m. June 11 after he was arrested there on an outstanding warrant for $100 from Princeton Municipal Court. 
  • Dennis Stanford, 55, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania., was charged with lewdness and driving while intoxicated after he was found asleep inside a parked car in Marquand Park, off Lovers Lane, with his pants down and his genitals exposed. The incident was reported at 11:37 a.m. June 10. 
  • Louis Evans IV, 31, of Maple Shade, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was stopped for not wearing a seatbelt on Washington Road at 9:16 a.m. June 10. 
  • Sarah Flood, 23, of Hamilton Township, was charged with driving while intoxicated after she was stopped for failure to have her car inspected at 1:10 a.m. June 10 on Washington Road. 
  • A business in the 600 block of Ewing Street reported that an employee is suspected of stealing $2,884 after an internal audit was conducted. The incident was reported at 11:06 a.m. June 9, and no arrests have been made thus far. 
  • Maradeniz Cakir, 20, of Princeton, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after she was stopped for failing to observe a traffic signal on Mercer Street at 12:59 a.m. June 9. 
  • Tashieka Stewart, 26, of Hamilton Township, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $120 from the Trenton Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on State Road at 5:40 a.m. June 8. A random license plate inquiry showed that Ms. Stewart, the owner of the car, was wanted on the warrant. 
