PRINCETON POLICE BLOTTER: June 28

  • Matthew Alber, 37, of Atco, was arrested on outstanding warrants totaling $1,108 after the car in which he was riding was stopped for a local ordinance violation on Mercer Road at 7:42 a.m. June 28. 
  • Yaw Gyasi, 27, of Princeton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $150 from Princeton Municipal Court on Nassau Street at 11:21 p.m. June 27 after a random license plate check revealed the outstanding warrant. 
  • Nancy Doolan, 53, of New Hope, Pennsylvania, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $79 from Hopewell Borough Municipal Court after she was stopped for speeding on Stockton Street at 10:39 a.m. June 27. 
  • Alexandria Yang, 21, of Princeton, was charged with driving while intoxicated after police were sent to investigate a disabled car on Princeton-Kingston Road at 9:39 p.m. June 25. 
  • Someone stole a set of license plates from a vehicle that was parked in the Community Park South parking lot during the evening hours of June 24. The theft was reported at 5:50 a.m. June 25. 
  • Eliza Higgins, 23, of Hamilton Township, was charged with hindering apprehension, receiving stolen property and tampering with public records after she was stopped by police on Stockton Street at 7:06 a.m. June 24 for driving with a suspended driver’s license. She provided false information to a police officer and was discovered to be in possession of a stolen driver’s license. 
  • Pierre Panniel, 31, of Princeton, was arrested on outstanding warrants totaling $1,778 after he was stopped on Valley Road at 5:53 p.m. June 23 for having an expired inspection sticker on his vehicle. 
  • A Trek mountain bicycle, valued at $430, was reported stolen from the bicycle rack outside the Princeton Public Library on Witherspoon Street at 2:02 p.m. June 23. The bicycle had been locked to the bicycle rack at the time of the theft. 
  • Samuel P. Dewitt, 33, of Hainsport, was charged with hindering apprehension for giving false information to a police officer following a motor vehicle crash investigation on Bayard Lane at 5:40 p.m. June 22. During the investigation, it was discovered that he was wanted on several outstanding warrants totaling $5,257 from various jurisdictions. 
  • A Razor scooter that had been left unlocked at a bicycle rack near the Community Park swimming pool on Witherspoon Street was reported stolen at 11:02 a.m. June 22. The theft occurred between noon and 4:30 p.m. June 21. 
  • Someone stole a Razor scooter and a Mongoose bicycle from the rear yard of a house in the 200 block of John Street, valued at a combined $210. Neither one was locked or secured. The theft was reported at 5:25 p.m. June 21. 
  • A Giant 21-speed bicycle was reported stolen from a bicycle rack in the first block of Prospect Avenue between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 21. The bicycle was locked to the bicycle rack. 
  • Lance Moore Jr., 41, of Princeton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $89 from Hamilton Township Municipal Court during an investigation into a harassment incident on Redding Circle at 12:30 p.m. June 21. 
